With internal dimensions of 250 x 370mm, this metal frame matches the MiScreen Full Frame designs, the plastic fame can be taped directly to this strong frame
Large GP100 sized designs are also suitable using this frame (A4 prints for 'off contact' where an outer space is required.)
Also suitable for mounting the Ikonart XL Sheet Size Film (305x457mm),
Supplied plain with no tape for lower cost, simply apply double sided tape and mount.
For freehand stencilling applications, IknoArt film may be attached using Screen Masking Tape only as no tension is required.
Recommended for off contact printing, a metal frame provided the strength required when elevated without flexing.
Recommended Print Area
Direct Printing: Allow 1cm top and bottom for squeegee set down/ pick up. Allow minimum 5mm each side of squeegee for ink run off.
Off Contact/ Elevated Printing: As the screen is elevated, the edges are unable to travel downwards to meet the item, the available print size decreases. General rule is print area is only 1/2 screen size, however this will vary on design size and item being printed.
When printing off contact/ elevated additional Screen Masking Tape should also be applied around the outside of the film/ mesh for additional adhesion to double sided tape.
Attaching MiScreen A4 Design Frame
After imaging your design in the MiScreen using the plastic frame with guide holes you may:
1. Remove the mesh and then mount directly to this frame
2. Leave mesh attached to the plastic A4 Design Frame and then tape directly to this metal frame.
- Double sided tape is not required (mesh is already attached to the MiScreen frame), attach securely Screen Masking Tape (36mm recommended) around all 4 edges.
Attaching Ikonart Textile and Stencil XL Film
T-K12 - 12mm double sided tissue tape is recommended.

Attaching RISO Digital Mesh
T-R12 - 12mm Red MaxiBond double sided tape is recommended.
T-T18 - 18mm Double sided tissue tape is also suitable. (12mm not recommended for RISO 'P' type Digital Mesh.)
