If you are looking at this spare part we assume you have dropped the machine and the lid is bent or damaged? Dropping the machine is really the only way to damage the head cover, it's a pretty solid piece of metal designed to hold and protect the TPH unit.
Installing this part yourself?
Replacing this part requires removal of the TPH, feed rollers and many internal components. It is HIGHLY recommended a qualified service technician install this spare part to ensure correct operation and maintain the product warranty.

Transport Damage must be notified prior to install/ usage.

- Where the customer fails to notify us of transport damage within the 24hour period, it is acceptance the customer forgoes all claims for damages, incorrect description, damaged product, incorrect product description and claim for transport damage.
The above conditions have been instigated due to fraudulent claims by customers for transport damage following improper installation/ handling of the product. If you are not qualified to install the spare part, you are unable to attempt install, break the part and claim a return/ credit.
